The Kentucky Community Leadership Programs Network is a closed group on Facebook, created to provide an idea sharing and networking platform for leadership program designers and facilitators in Kentucky. Membership is limited to those with community leadership planning responsibility, and information posted to this site will be monitored in relation to its relevance to leadership development programming and networking.

Make plans to attend the 2024 Kentucky Community Leadership Programs Summit on May 22nd, 2024!
We encourage local chamber leaders, local/regional leadership program directors, and board members to attend this one-day workshop to discuss and explore best practices to grow and develop effective leadership programs.

Leadership Lessons Learned on the Appalachian Trail. Our greatest successes aren’t always achieved with a perfectly executed plan. Instead, they are accomplished by how well we prepare, how we work together, what attitude we take with us, and how we adapt to the obstacles we face along the way. This presentation provides beautiful photos, inspiring stories, and a strong message on the importance of leadership, on and off the trail.

Date: Wednesday May 22nd, 2024
Time: 9am - 4pm EDT
Location: Kentucky State University campus in Frankfort, KY at the Benson Research and Demonstration Farm
Registration Fee: $50. This covers a catered lunch from Three Peas in a Pod, and workshop materials.
Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at a reduced rate ($145+taxes) at the Hampton Inn in Frankfort for those who would like to arrive the evening before.
