Business Retention and Expansion Program
The Business Retention and Expansion Program (BR&E) is a community-based program that engages communities to examine the local business situation, interpret the information collected, and purposefully plan to strengthen the ability of the community to understand local business needs and to positively respond.
BR&E participants organize a planning committee; identify local business participants, conduct interviews, and respond to opportunities that result from the interviews.
CEDIK supports communities throughout the process, including developing the interview guide, analyzing the results of the interviews, writing the final reports, and helping to present the results to the greater community. In addition, the CEDIK BR&E team can assist community planning developed from the data and conversation identified in the business survey.
$3,500 for communities with population up to 50,000.
