Beka is the Economic Development Extension Specialist for CEDIK. With an extensive background in economic development, sales, and business growth and development, she has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Kroger, DaVita, PepsiCo, and Honeywell along with a variety of small - midsized businesses nationally and internationally. In her previous work at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, she announced over 1,000 jobs and over $270 million in investment for rural Appalachia within a short year and a half span.

She works to catalyze positive change to build engaged communities and vibrant economies. She also helps economic development organizations unlock innovation to feel more confident about their growth, impact, and future. Beka is passionate about building community capacity and strengthening economic growth in Appalachia. Through creativity, collaboration, and collective intelligence cities, companies, and people can prosper. Moreover, those organizations that apply such methods with purpose work faster, create more impact, develop more opportunities, and are better positioned for long-term growth. The end result?
