Introducing Bludot!

Along with our partners at Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED), we are providing free access to Bludot for all Kentucky communities. To be clear, this is not a free program. So why are we funding this program statewide? CEDIK and KAED believe that this web-based platform will supercharge the business retention and expansion efforts of your local economic development team. Bludot is the second phase of our Kentucky Economic Recovery and Resilience Project; we are confident that providing this powerful communication tool to retain and expand local businesses will create stronger and more resilient business communities statewide!

What is Bludot?

Bludot is a web-based business retention and expansion platform for communities. Bludot is pre-populated with business data from your community so you can hit the ground running the moment you log in. The embedded video provides a quick introduction of the interface and the capabilities of Bludot.

Who is included in a local economic development team?

Bludot allows multiple users! However, we require a lead contact from each community that is currently employed as the primary Economic Development staff person for your community and/or the head of the local Chamber. The lead contact will decide on the other users of the platform for each community. Community roles that have been included as part of the local economic development team:

  • Judge Executive
  • Mayor
  • Chamber of Commerce Director/Leadership
  • Tourism Director
  • Main Street Manager
