Who should you be working with in your community?

There are often many organizations working towards growth in a community.
To be the most effective and efficient, collaboration is KEY!

1. START HERE: Lead Contact (Local Economic Developer, Chamber Lead Contact)

Every community needs to have a lead contact for development and growth. When a local economic developer or chamber is not present, this often falls to elected officials or extension agents.

2. BUILD YOUR TEAM: Community Partners (Local Elected Officials, Chamber Director, Main Street Coordinator, Tourism Director, Downtown Association Director)

Growth and effectiveness come from a cohesive team of community partners.

3. STAY CONNECTED

Be the catalyst to helping your community stay on the same page/combine work efforts, ensuring efficiency. Bludot can help! Learn more about this resource that UK has invested in to help support collaboration in communities.
